Questions, answered without marketing.

If your question is not here, ask it on the call — we would rather answer it properly than guess at it in a paragraph.

The product

Is this a CRM?

No. A CRM is organised around a contact. Furnishi is organised around a job order — the thing that moves through nine stages and that four different companies touch. If you need sales pipeline management, keep your CRM; Furnishi starts where the enquiry becomes real work.

Is it an ERP?

No. It does not do production planning, material requirement or accounting. It manages what happens between the order being confirmed and the payout being released — including everyone outside your company who touches it.

Can it handle products other than kitchens?

Yes. Products, product codes and work types are masters you control. Wardrobes, TV units, vanity, storage, office modular and loose furniture all run through the same lifecycle.

Does it work on a phone?

The panel is responsive and partners work from their phones today. A dedicated field app and the customer app are designed; see build status.

Can we customise the permission matrix?

Yes, per factory. The matrix shipped is the default derived from how factories actually work; you can widen or narrow any role’s field list.

Data & access

Can a partner really not see the customer name?

Correct, and not because a column is hidden in the interface. Partner screens read from a database view that does not contain that column, so it is not in the API response and not in the CSV export either.

Can Furnishi staff see our data?

Only through support impersonation, and when they do, it is written into your own audit log with the staff member’s name against it. You can see every time it happened.

Where is the data stored?

In an Indian region, primary and backup. No customer personal data leaves India.

What if we leave?

Full export of everything you are entitled to, in open formats, then deletion on the schedule in the agreement.

Getting started

How long does onboarding take?

Roughly two weeks: masters and rate card in the first days, users and the permission matrix next, live orders in parallel from about day four, partners in week two.

Do we have to migrate our old jobs?

No, and we recommend you do not. Let the existing jobs finish on the existing process and start Furnishi with the next enquiry.

Do our partners need training?

A partner sees one list and seven fields. In practice it is a five-minute walkthrough, and most of that is explaining why the customer name is not there.

What do you need from us to start?

Your product list, your location codes, your rate card and the names and roles of the people who need accounts. If those live in a spreadsheet, send the spreadsheet.

Commercial

Is the pricing on the site final?

No — it is an indicative structure. Real pricing is set against your order volume and the modules you turn on.

Do you charge our partners?

No. Partner accounts are free.

Do you take a percentage of order value?

No. It is a subscription, not a marketplace take rate.
